Kinleaf is owned and operated by Zocron, LLC (“Kinleaf,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, across the Kinleaf mobile app and this website (getkinleaf.com). By using Kinleaf, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Use.

Kinleaf is built for parents and caregivers to track their children's health information. Your child does not create their own account — you, the parent or caregiver, are the account holder and control the information entered.

Information That We Collect About You or Your Child

Because Kinleaf helps you track your child's health — things like symptoms, illnesses, medications, and appointments — we need to collect some information about your child to make that possible. We also collect a smaller amount of information about you, since you're the one using the app and managing your child's account.

Information About You That We Collect From You

When you create a Kinleaf account, we collect your email address and password, or, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the basic profile information (such as your name and email) that provider shares with us.

Information About Your Child That We Collect

Information that we ask for about your child, used strictly and confidentially to provide the app's core features, may include:

• Your child's profile details (e.g. name, birthdate)
• Illnesses, symptoms, and temperature logs
• Medications, doses, and timing
• Appointments and questions for the doctor
• Photos and documents you upload (e.g. vaccine cards, test results) — a Kinleaf Plus feature
• Information related to caregivers you choose to share access with — a Kinleaf Plus feature

This information is entered by you and is only as accurate or complete as what you choose to provide. We only use your child's information to provide Kinleaf's features to you, and we treat it as strictly confidential.

Information from the website

If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message, and use them only to respond to you. If you sign up for email updates, we collect your email address to send you those updates. We also use Vercel Web Analytics on getkinleaf.com to understand how visitors use our site and to improve it. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless — it doesn't use cookies or track you across other websites, and it doesn't collect personally identifiable information. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell the information collected this way.

Payment information

All purchases — whether made in the app or through our website — are processed by RevenueCat, using the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe as the underlying payment processor. Kinleaf does not receive or store your payment card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Kinleaf's features
• Let you log in and access your account and data
• Process subscriptions and purchases
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Send you updates you've asked to receive, which you can unsubscribe from at any time

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising. Kinleaf does not include third-party advertising SDKs or pixels (such as Meta, Google Ads, or TikTok) in the app or website that would share your child's health information with advertising networks.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Kinleaf, and only as needed for them to provide that service:

• Supabase — hosts our app database and handles authentication
• RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Stripe — process subscriptions and purchases
• Resend — delivers contact form messages and email updates from this website
• Vercel — hosts this website and provides cookieless web analytics (aggregated page-view data), and may log standard technical information (like IP address) as part of normal web server operation

Specific Business Deals May Require Us to Share Your Personal Information

If Kinleaf is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of some or all of our business or assets — including while we're negotiating such a deal — your information may be shared with the other party as part of that transaction.

Situations Where We Are Required To Disclose Your Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information, including your account information and communications made through the app, if we're required to do so by law or a valid request from law enforcement, or if we believe in good faith it's necessary to respond to a subpoena or court order, protect the rights, property, or safety of Kinleaf, our users, or others, or look into a suspected violation of the law, this Privacy Policy, or our Terms of Use.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure, including encrypting data in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

That said, no company — Kinleaf included — can completely eliminate the security risks that come with handling information over the internet.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT NO SECURITY SAFEGUARD IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CIRCUMVENT, AND THAT KINLEAF CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT UNAUTHORIZED PARTIES WILL NEVER GAIN ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION DESPITE THOSE SAFEGUARDS. BECAUSE THE APP TRANSMITS INFORMATION OVER THE INTERNET, AND KINLEAF DOES NOT OPERATE OR CONTROL THE INTERNET ITSELF, THERE IS ALWAYS SOME RISK THAT HACKERS OR MALICIOUS SOFTWARE COULD GAIN UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OUR SYSTEMS OR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

We also aren't responsible for information you choose to share yourself, or that you ask or authorize us to share on your behalf.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can request to delete all your data at any time through the app's Settings. Once deleted, it is permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered. Deleting the app from your phone does not, by itself, delete your account or data.

Children's Privacy

Kinleaf is intended for use by adults, parents, and caregivers on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own Kinleaf accounts, and any information about a child is entered and controlled by that child's parent or caregiver account holder.

Your Choices

You can access, update, or delete your information at any time from within the app. You can unsubscribe from email updates using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information; contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
